Optional channel

A Telegram bot for your business.

Your booking page and widget work without Telegram. If your clients like to message you on Telegram, a bot adds one more way in: booking, “My bookings” and reminders right in the chat.

Guide

The bot is an extra channel. Your schedule, clients and booking rules are the same as on your business page: one time slot never goes to two clients, wherever they book.

  1. Open @BotFather in TelegramFind the official @BotFather account and tap /start.
  2. Send /newbotBotFather asks for a name — this is how the bot appears in chats, e.g. “Lezo — bookings”.
  3. Pick a usernameIt must end with _bot, e.g. lezo_booking_bot.
  4. Keep the token safeBotFather sends a token like 1234567890:AA…. Never post it in public chats.
  5. Hand the token to the Sambooka teamEmail [email protected] that you want to connect Telegram — we will suggest a secure way to pass the token and turn the channel on. The token is only ever stored encrypted.
  6. Optional: description and pictureIn @BotFather: /setdescription, /setabouttext, /setuserpic.

Once connected, you can also get Telegram alerts about new bookings and cancellations.
